Up for sale, a 1966 Epiphone Sorrento E452T vintage thinline hollowbody guitar in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Built on the same platform as Gibson's ES-125T, the Sorrento delivers a barking, lively natural acoustic tone.
Featherweight at just 5lbs, this guitar features a fully hollow thinline 16" wide maple body, and plugged-in this Sorrento’s mini humbucker delivers a clear, bell-like tone that has the fullness of a humbucker and the sparkle and treble detail of a single coil. The early Patent Sticker mini humbucker truly is a best-of-both-worlds pickup, with great harmonic content, and a glassy, touch-sensitive responsiveness. For defined cleans or fully overdriven bliss, this guitar performs admirably. This Sorrento benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The Sunburst gloss nitro lacquer finish is 100% original save for a sliver of touch-up along the neck joint, where the neck was reset in the past. The neck meets the body at an ideal angle, viable for decades to come. This Sorrento exhibits prominent vertical checking on top and to a lesser extent on the back, with moderate buckle wear at the lower bout of the back and a few small dings and light finish scratches. The neck profile and headstock exhibit similar restrained wear, with a few tiny dings and shallow nicks.
A modern black tolex hardshell case is included.
