Up for sale, a 1965 Mosrite Ventures Model bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order.  A genuine vintage USA-made example, this Mosrite bass was crafted in Bakersfield, CA, 100% original save for a professional refret.

The basswood body has a prominent German Carve, and the maple neck is capped by a bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard. This Ventures Model bass has a bold thump and thick growl via the hotly wound neck position single coil, with a focused punch accentuated by the 45-100 roundwound strings. This Mosrite weighs 9lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation.

The Sunburst gloss lacquer finish is 100% original with no touch-up or overspray, exhibiting tight vertical lacquer checking. Cosmetic wear includes buckle rash central to the back, some dings along the lower bout perimeter, pick scuffing on top, and some additional minor marks on the body as a whole. The gloss Sunburst on the neck profile is smooth to the touch, with palm wear on the shoulders and similar lacquer checking as the body.

A vintage padded gigbag is included.
