Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a 1965 Fender Reverb Unit in collector-grade, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original Victoria Luggage slip cover, one-button footswitch, and even a Fender patch cable (the same kind typically seen as "case candy" with Fender guitars of the era). Practically pristine, this Reverb Unit is a time capsule piece, stock right down to the vintage tube set.

This all tube design delivers lush and detailed spring reverb, and with controls for Dwell, Mix, and Tone, it's easy to dial in the perfect amount of splash and sparkle. This classic Fender effect simply goes in-line between your guitar and amp.

The circuit is untouched, with the famed blue Ajax capacitors in the preamp and stock Schumacher-made transformers which all date to the 13th week of '65. The main filter caps are surprisingly still intact and functioning as they should (also featuring individual date stamps from '65) , and all of the original Stackpole pots are intact too, with date codes from the 12th week of '65. The Accutronics two-spring tank is original, and the stock RCA cables with braided leads connect to the circuit. The tank itself retains its date stamp from the 17th week of '65. The tube chart is also fully intact inside the cabinet with an "OF" stamp which translates to June of '65.

The cabinet retains the original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth, both of which exhibit barely a scuff. The faceplate graphics are pristine, complete with the trio of original cream barrel knobs, and the black flat handle has minty nickel caps.

The original black Victoria Luggage-made slip cover is included, complete with its original tag on the inside of the flap that surrounds the handle. The original black one-button footswitch to engage the effect is also present, as is an original gray Fender instrument cable.
