Up for sale, a 1965 Fender Mustang in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This Mustang boasts numerous early features including a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, L-prefix neck plate, and double-line Kluson tuners, sporting a gloss Daphne Blue nitro lacquer finish accented by a white pearloid pickguard.
Weighing 7lbs 8oz, this Mustang has a smooth, defined acoustic sound that translates well through the gray bobbin pickups. There's a bold chewy twang in the bridge position, and smooth bell-like cut and percussive snap at the neck. Naturally, one of the most fun sounds on the Mustang is achieved via the pair of three-way on/off/on pickup switches when engaged in their innermost or outermost positions, yielding an out-of-phase hollow quack. This Mustang has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

Cosmetic wear is limited to a few small finish chips, very faint buckle scuffing central to the back, and just a couple dings on top. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
The original gray speckled hardshell case is included; the central latch is not present, but the locking latches are functional and the original handle is intact.
