Up for sale, a 1965 Epiphone FT30 Caballero in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original chipboard case. Crafted at the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Caballero is identical to the LG-0 in every way save for the headstock shape. Less common than its Gibson-branded counterpart, this flattop features a concert body crafted entirely from mahogany and a transitional nut width measuring just shy of 1 ⅝”.

A true songwriter/studio special, this Caballero is detailed, articulate, and sweet, pairing the warmth and midrange fullness of mahogany with the relaxed, open quality of a well-seasoned soundboard. Even-tempered and well-suited to fingerpicking, the bass response is restrained and immediate, while the trebles have a crisp potency and sparkle. Featherweight at 4lbs 2oz, this FT30 Caballero has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.
