Up for sale, a 1965 Alamo Futura 1x12 vintage tube amp in mint condition, complete with the original two-button footswitch. A time capsule-clean vintage tube amp, this two-channel Alamo was produced in San Antonio, Texas.

Original right down to the complete RCA-branded tube set, this Alamo has both Tremolo and Reverb on-board, pushing roughly 12 watts via the Alamo-branded alnico magnet speaker. The sound is smooth and touch-sensitive, a perfect studio secret weapon offering chiming cleans and very sweet, detailed tube overdrive at very manageable volumes. Both the Reverb and Tremolo are tube-driven, and the Reverb has a full-length two-spring tank.

The hand-wired circuit is built on terminal strips, virtually untouched with original transformers, viable original electrolytic caps, and CTS pots that date to the 45th week of '65. The 12" speaker has the original cone, pristine silver frame and clean Alamo foil sticker on the alnico magnet. The tube chart is also flawless inside the cabinet.

The chrome-plated chassis shines like new, and there's barely a mark on the smooth black tolex or wheat grillcloth.

The original two-button wooden "door stop" footswitch is included, and given the pristine preservation of the amp, even the label maker "Trem" and "Reverb" markings are presumably stock.
