Up for sale, a 1964 Silvertone 1481 vintage Class A tube amp in excellent, 100% original condition, complete with the original Silvertone-branded tube set. Functioning as intended and benefitting from a fresh checkup by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this amp features a simple single channel design with a 6V6 power tube and 8” Fisher alnico magnet speaker. Roughly equivalent to a Fender Champ, the 1481 offers sweet, sparkling cleans and overdriven grit.
The point-to-point circuit retains the original transformer pair, the CTS pots have visible date codes from the 36th week of ‘64, and the original two-prong power cable is present. The 8” alnico magnet Fisher speaker has a date stamp from '64.
The cabinet retains its gray textured exterior, gold sparkle grillcoth and small Silvertone badge.
