Up for sale, a 1964 Epiphone Sorrento E452T vintage thinline hollowbody guitar in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Retaining its original PAF mini humbucker in the neck position, this Sorrento has been augmented with a Gibson T-Top in the bridge position and an expanding control configuration.
Built on the same platform as Gibson's ES-125T, the Sorrento has a fully hollow thinline 16" wide body, yielding a barking, lively natural acoustic tone. The PAF neck pickup is rich and roaring with plenty of meat, while the bridge position T-Top offers taut low end, a clear treble cut and an upper midrange bite that cuts through a mix. The middle position is out-of-phase, with a distinctive dry cut and spank. This Sorrento weighs only 5lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
