Up for sale, a 1962 Fender Tube Reverb Unit in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This Pre-CBS all tube design delivers lush and detailed spring reverb, outfitted with a vintage RCA 6K6 power tube. With controls for Dwell, Mix, and Tone, it's easy to dial in the perfect amount of splash and sparkle, and this classic Fender effect simply goes in-line between your guitar and amp.

The circuit retails the famed yellow Astron and blue Ajax capacitors, and the original Schumacher output transformer and choke date between the 42nd week of '61 and the 36th weeks of '62. The original power transformer is also present. All of the original CTS pots are intact, with visible date codes from as far back as the 37th week of 1959. The power supply has been professionally recapped with USA-made components, and the smaller electrolytics in the preamp have been replaced too, ensuring optimal performance. The unit is loaded with a vintage (not original) Accutronics two-spring tank, and the metal lock for the tank has been removed. The tube chart is intact inside the cabinet, with a "LH" stamp that translates to August of '62.

The cabinet retains the original well-kept rough brown tolex, paired with replacement oxblood grillcloth. The faceplate graphics are extremely clean save for a couple scuffs, complete with the trio of original brown barrel knobs. The leather handle is a modern replacement, while the flat Fender logo on the face of the unit is stock.

A modern footswitch is included.
