Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a 1962 Fender Tube Reverb Unit in near mint, collector-grade condition and in perfect working order, complete with a modern replica brown footswitch and Victoria Luggage-style cover. This Pre-CBS all tube design delivers lush and detailed spring reverb, outfitted with a complete vintage tube set including an RCA 6K6 power tube, with GE and Tung Sol valves in the preamp. With controls for Dwell, Mix, and Tone, it's easy to dial in the perfect amount of splash and sparkle, and this classic Fender effect simply goes in-line between your guitar and amp.

The circuit is 100% original save for new Sprague electrolytic capacitors sleeved in the original Astron Minimite wrappers in both the preamp and power amp for a clean, vintage look. The circuit retails the famed blue Ajax and yellow Astron capacitors, and stock transformers that date between the 14th and 34th weeks of '62. All of the original Stackpole pots are intact too, with date codes from the 34th week of '62. The Accutronics two-spring tank is original, with its own date stamp from the 33rd week of '62, along with stock RCA cables with braided leads running to the circuit. The tube chart is also fully intact inside the cabinet.

The cabinet retains the original stunningly well-kept rough brown tolex and wheat grillcloth. The faceplate graphics are extremely clean, complete with the trio of original brown barrel knobs. This is also one of the last Reverb Units to feature a leather handle, which is original, and the flat Fender logo on the face of the unit is also stock.

This is one of the most pristine Reverb Units we've ever offered for sale here at the Guitar Bar, complete with a modern Victoria Luggage-style cover and brown one button footswitch to engage the effect.
