Up for sale, a 1961 Gibson ES-350T in excellent condition and in perfect working order, equipped with original PAFs and complete with the Lifton hardshell case. A rare Florentine cutaway version of the ES-350T, this dramatic, sharper cutaway body was introduced on the ES-350T in late 1960.

Essentially a slightly more spartan version of the Byrdland model, the ES-350T features a thinline (2 1/4" deep) figured curly maple body with a full 17" lower bout width. Matching the neck dimensions of the Byrdland, the ES-350 T has a very fast-feeling 23 1/2" scale length.

As the most revered pickup of all time in many circles, these PAFs deliver articulation, complex harmonics, and even, smooth warmth that's in a class all its own. With undisturbed solder on their covers, these PAFs both retain their original winds; the neck meters at 7.35k ohms, and the bridge meters 7.6k. The bridge has a sweet upper midrange detail and a notably balanced, dynamic feel, and the neck position is pillowy and warm, with a rich bloom while retaining a round punch and great note separation with even the most complex chord voicings. This ES-350T is featherweight at 6lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 flatwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is 100% original with no touch-up or overspray, exhibiting very tight spiderweb lacquer checking and highlighting the dynamic curly flame figuring extending across the body. There are a couple short, cosmetic splits in the outer ply of the laminate maple rim adjacent to the input jack, and cosmetic wear is limited to a few minor marks on the body as a while, one small mark on the back binding edge adjacent to the rear strap button. The gloss on the neck profile also exhibits extensive horizontal checking, smooth to the palm with playwear through the gloss behind frets 1-7.

The original brown Lifton hardshell case with pink interior is included. The case shows modest edge wear, retaining just one of its "feet," with all functional latches intact, the stock molded handle, and small Gibson badge beneath the handle.
