1961 Fender Stringmaster Dual 8 Pre-CBS Vintage Double Neck Console Lap Steel Blonde w/ Case, Legs

+ shipping

Up for sale, a 1961 Fender Stringmaster Dual 8 console steel in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original brown tolex hardshell case and telescoping legs. This Stringmaster features a Blonde nitro lacquer finish over an ash body, retaining the original quartet of black bobbin pickups.

This console steel has an extremely sweet, articulate, and dynamic sound. The trebles have quintessential Fender sparkle and percussive cut, with the midrange detail and note attack inherent in ash as a tonewood, and the Pickup Blend wheels allow for a smooth gradient between the two pickups on each neck, with additional Master Volume and Tone knobs. This Stringmaster D8 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh 15-54 strings.

The original brown tolex hardshell case is included, along with the chrome-plated telescoping legs and a slide.
