Up for sale, a 1960s Maestro Fuzz Tone FZ-1A in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Arguably the definitive Maestro Fuzz circuit, this early and original FZ-1A was produced by Gibson and is perfect for sputtery buzzsaw sizzle and richer overdriven fuzz roar. Under the hood, the pedal features original RCA 2N2614 germanium transistors and carbon comp resistors, with two new electrolytic caps.
The pots have been replaced, and the amber bonnet knobs certainly look the part but are also modern. The wedge-shaped enclosure shows moderate edge wear, yet still retains clean white silkscreen graphics. The original attached 1/4" cable is still intact too.
