Up for sale, a 1960s Guyatone LG-250T in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare Guyatone’s aesthetics and tonal response reflect just how deeply the surf craze reverberated within the Japanese market at the time; clearly heavily inspired by Mosrite, this LG-250T features German Carve on the double cutaway body, Mosrite-style pickups and knobs, and a vibrato that bridges the gap between the Mosrite Vibramute and Fender-style vibratos.

The pair of single coil pickups each have meter at 6.45k ohms, delivering bold, snappy, defined tones with plenty of treble immediacy and tight lows. The neck position is round and warm while maintaining plenty of punch, while the bridge yields a focused sparkle and spank. This LG-250T weighs 8lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
