Up for sale, a 1960s Guyatone LG-150T in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This eye-catching Japanese-made Guyatone is very uncommon outside of its country of origin, with unique surf design elements including a German carve Mosrite-influenced body and Fender-inspired vibrato system.

The single coil pickups have large pole pieces and healthy output, with a bold, clear and round sound. The bridge pickup has a certain sweetness and punch, while the neck pickup is particularly thick yet retains a distinctive percussive cut. This Guyatone weighs 7lbs 11oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss White finish has aged to a rich cream-colored hue and exhibits broad checking across the body. Cosmetic wear includes a few finish chips along the perimeter, faint buckle rash on the back, and a handful of minor dings and finish scratches on the body as a whole. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile highlights subtle flame figuring in the maple, with a small amount of targeted touchup on a single finish chip on the bass-side shoulder at the 1st fret.

A modern black tolex hardshell case is included.
