Up for sale, a 1958 Silvertone model 1300 in perfect working order, complete with a chipboard case. Crafted by Danelectro in the USA and synonymous with their U-1 model, this guitar sports Danelectro's signature "coke bottle" headstock and is constructed with a solid center block on the body, features not seen on later examples.

The body is crafted from masonite over a poplar frame, and this Silvertone is featherweight at 5lbs 12oz, with a warm acoustic bark. The lipstick single coil pickup has an ideal balance of sparkle and punch, with a surprisingly versatile array of tones on tap via the three-way Tone selector switch. This toggle alternates between a selection of Tone capacitors, effectively serving as a High Pass/Bypass/Low Pass control with a broad sweep regardless of position. This Silvertone 1321 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings and low action.
