Up for sale, a 1958 Guild T-100 “Slim Jim” in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case and 100% original save for a set of tuning machines. This well-kept Guild thinline hollowbody dates to the first year of the model’s production, crafted at the Hoboken, NJ factory, featuring a single Franz single coil pickup.

Featuring a full 16” lower bout and an arched maple top, this T-100’s thinline hollowbody construction and form factor result in terrific natural resonance, chime and detail, providing an ideal platform for the pickup. Plugged in, the Franz single coil is very much akin to P-90 in terms of output and tonal characteristics, with great midrange cut, top end snap, and focused, growling bass. This T-100 “Slim Jim” is featherweight at 5lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-52 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
