Up for sale, a 1957 Gibson ES-125TD in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. A first-year example of the ES-125TD model (Thinline, Double pickup), this Gibson features fully hollow maple body construction paired with a one-piece Honduran mahogany neck, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, and a pair of P-90 pickups.
Featherweight at 5lbs 12oz, this guitar produces a relaxed natural acoustic tone with both sonic depth and the immediacy due maple as a tonewood. The original pair of black bobbin P-90 pickups deliver the midrange growl and glassy, dynamic qualities of this hotly wound design, with rich, textured bark when digging in hard. The pickups clean up nicely for complex chord work with a lighter touch, and each position on the three-way pickup selector is distinct. This ES-125TD has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss on the neck carve is smooth and inviting to the palm with just a few very shallow marks.
A modern black tolex hardshell case is included.
