Up for sale, a 1952 Danelectro Leader Series C 1x10 vintage tube amp in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. This rare and early Dano amp delivers both sparkling, sweet cleans and smooth overdrive, powered by a pair of vintage RCA 25L6 tubes. Via a single channel design with a trio of inputs, this Dano amp sports simple Volume and Tone controls.

The point-to-point circuit has been recently serviced, with the stock output transformer inside the chassis and a later Triad power transformer mounted to the enclosure. New high quality capacitors have been installed in the preamp and power amp as needed to ensure optimal functionality. The power tubes are a vintage pair of RCA 25L6s, with matching RCA metal can preamp tubes and a General Electric 5Y3 rectifier. The original Rola alnico magnet speaker is intact with a clean frame, original cone, and date code on the edge of the frame from the 40th week of '52.

Cosmetically, the amp retains its original reddish brown covering paired with the original cane grillcloth. Even the original leather handle is intact and in remarkable shape. The faceplate retains the original bakelite brown pointer knobs, and the original brown and gold silkscreen graphics are extremely well-preserved. There is only very light edge wear on the enclosure, and the silkscreened Danelectro logo is present on the lower edge of the face of the amp.
