Up for sale, a 1950s Lifton hardshell case in exceptional condition. With its mottled brown exterior and pink plush interior, this Lifton is designed for a full depth archtop or jumbo-bodied acoustic with a full 17" lower bout including a Gibson L-5, SJ-200, or Epiphone Zephyr or Emperor.
The "Lifton - Built Like a Fortress" badge is intact beneath the neck rest, and the case pocket has a clean tab. All of the original latches are intact, as is the brown leather handle. The exterior only shows light edge wear, and all of the bumpers/feet are present too. The inside of the case lid has a subtle Epiphone "E" epsilon.
