Up for sale, a 1938 Gibson EH-150 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original tweed racing stripe case. This rare Pre-War Gibson lap steel features a curly maple body framed by multi-ply binding, a bound Brazilian rosewood playing surface, and the heralded Charlie Christian pickup with a U-shaped magnet. Widely beloved for its singular sound, the Charlie Christian blade pickup delivers a clear, raw, bell-like tone, with a top end that has a full-bodied, chiming character. This EH-150 weighs 5lbs 9oz freshly restrung here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 13-35 strings.
