The Eggnog is a single-channel tube overdrive and preamp pedal, designed to faithfully capture the sound of the finest ‘50s Tweed circuits. Just like those small Fullerton amps, this “amp-in-a-box” pedal yields spongy, warm Tweed goodness with plenty of sponginess, sag, rasp, and creamy tube breakup. The Eggnog boasts a three-band EQ, and a Normal/Bright tone voicing switch. An independently switchable Boost adds extra power, with a dedicated Boost level control. This Eggnog is currently loaded with a Genalex ECC83 tube, which is pushed by an always-on MOSFET gain stage, ensuring the character of the breakup and overdriven tonalities is as faithful to a genuine low-power Tweed sound as possible.
