Designed by legendary amp builder Bruce Zinky, this rare (long ago discontinued) Supro combo is essentially a souped-up reenvisioning of the iconic Fender Vibro King (yet another Zinky design from his time helming Fender’s Custom Shop amp line). It features a dual-channel, all-tube design, with footswitchable tube-driven tremolo and reverb, pushing 60 watts via a 6L6 power tube pair.This Tremolectric delivers a wide array of tonalities; from pristine, sparkling Fender-style cleans to creamy, vintage-flavored overdrive, able to instantly switch between the Dirty and Clean channels via the included footswitch. Controls include independent Volume knobs for each channel, with a Gain knob for the Dirty channel; Bass, Middle and Treble EQ knobs; a Global Volume control; Reverb Drive, Tone, and Level; and Tremolo Speed and Strength. The Tremolo is very dimensional, and the Reverb parameters allow for notable range, from atmospheric sparkle to cavernous surfy splash. There are two footswitch inputs: one for a single-button Tremolo on\/off switch, and one for a two-button Reverb\/Channel switch (both are included).The cabinet is loaded with the original trio of black frame alnico magnet 10” speakers with Supro badges on the magnet bells. The tube complement includes two Sovtek 5881 (6L6GC) power tubes and a preamp section comprising five EHX 12AX7s and one EHX 12AT7. The impedance selector accommodates 4, 8, and 16 ohm loads.The cabinet features brown tolex and cream grillcloth with a silkscreened Supro logo, additional small Supro metal badge, and a premium leather handle. The white faceplate has clean graphics and its full complement of mini pointer knobs.
