Up for sale, a Snider Amplification New Jersey head in near-mint condition and in perfect working order. Handwired by Jeff Snider in California, this boutique tube amp head is a streamlined, no-frills tone machine, featuring a pair of EL84 tubes and premium componentry.

This amp has a tonal profile very much in-line with Trainwreck or Two Rock, yielding a ripping, muscular tone with a remarkably powerful low end response, far meatier than the average EL84-loaded circuit. The Bass and Treble knobs (“Woof” and “Sizzle”) have broad sweeps, and the punchy, chiming trebles stand up to the bass heft very well, resulting in great overall balance. This amp is also extremely touch-sensitive and dynamic; the cleans are glassy and immediate, and creamy tube breakup starts around 5 on the dial and only gets dirtier from there. The amp features a 30W/18W power switch, and the Boost switch which adds an extra pop of brightness

Cosmetic touches include a lacquered wood panel on the face, cream chickenhead knobs, and black tolex. Studio-kept, the amp has only a couple tiny marks on the enclosure.
