The single coil JB-108NF J-style pickup offers more upper midrange grind and burp, while the bridge position MM-106 ceramic humbucker echoes Music Man's Stingray construction with a broad, authoritative sound that has plenty of muscle. A bevy of controls offer expansive tone sculpting ability, with a Master Volume, Pickup Blend knob, Coil Split switch, and active Three Band EQ. This Edwards bass weighs 10lbs and has been professionally setup here at Mike \u0026amp; Mike’s Guitar Bar with roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe hard maple neck has a slender C shaped profile with modest shoulder at the nut and a rounder, fuller carve as you travel up the fretboard, measuring .820” deep at the 1st fret and .955” at the 12th. The maple fingerboard features glow-in-the-dark dot position markers and side dots, and the stock slender fretwire is pristine. The bass plays well in all registers up the straight neck with a 12” fretboard radius and responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The scale length is an extra long 35”, and the bone nut measures a spacious 1 13\/16“ in width. The headstock features a bleeding heart graphic, Edwards logo, and chrome set of clover button Gotoh GB-11W tuners that turn smoothly and hold pitch well.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOn the body, the active electronics function as intended, governing the ceramic magnet humbucker and J-style single coil.
