Additionally, the Tap Division feature enables the user to toggle between four different subdivisions (Dotted 8ths, 8ths, Triplets, and 16ths) for further flexibility, with an easy-to-read status display.  The Carbon Copy Deluxe offers a wider range of tones than the original pedal; the original’s dark, mellow wash is present, but the Bright buttons kicks in vibrant, sparkling articulation to really cut through a mix, and the Mod button allows the player to sculpt the chorusing with the Speed and Width controls. Further controls include Mix, Regeneration, Delay, Speed, and Width knobs, with an independent footswitch for the Tap Tempo.\n\nThere is an input jack for an external expression pedal, and the inside of the pedal contains a Line Level\/Instrument Level switch which allows the pedal to be used both in front of the amp or in the FX loop, as well as a Dry Kill switch for a “wet only” effect that’s perfect for studio recording.\n\nThe rugged Green Sparkle enclosure has barely a mark on it.
