Up for sale, a Maxon Distortion Master DS-830 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This modern Maxon offering is exceedingly flexible, delivering a bevy of tones from huge, Marshall-style gain to subtle Blues crunch and even clean boost. The distortion is balanced and fairly transparent; with the Bass and Treble knobs at noon, the DS-830 doesn’t overly color the signal. However, dialing up the bass fattens the sound dramatically, and the Treble knob adds just the right amount of sizzle.

Controls include Gain, Bass, Treble, and Level knobs. This pedal is in great shape, with just a handful of minor marks on the enclosure. The original knobs are intact, the graphics are clean, and the serialized black foil label is present on the bottom.
