Born of a shoegazer’s dream, the Loomer is an impressively versatile and unique pedal that can produce ripping fuzz or sparkly shimmer drenched in various washes of reverb, delay, and chorus.  \n\nFocus mode is a lush, surreal sound based on the popular Soft Focus patch from the Yamaha FX500. This iconic late 80’s processor was used to achieve many signature sounds. The sound is achieved by stacking a dense reverb, followed by a dual delay, which is then sent through a four voice chorus with a fixed rate. Decay controls both decay time of the reverb and feedback for the dual delay. Depth controls the depth of all four chorus voices.\n\nReverse mode is inspired by the classic Yamaha SPX90 and Alesis Midiverb II. Though considered a reverse reverb, it’s really more of a series of delayed signals playing back with increasing volume to create a dynamic swelling echo. Delay switches between different fixed times from quick 150ms to half a second.\n\nReverse also features an envelope triggered vibrato that emulates the pitch bend from an offset tremolo bar. The Depth control will set how deep the “trem bar” is pushed, while the Tone control in this mode is in the style of a Jazzmaster Rhythm Circuit, with a low pass filter centered at 156.6Hz.\n\nHall setting offers a super long ambient decay with the ability to add octave regeneration that feeds back into the input of the reverb, creating an infinitely ascending loop. The Depth control will change how noticeable the pitch is.\n\nAll of the reverbs can go All-Wet by means of the Blend Control, offering a great approximation of the Yamaha FX500 patch.
