The Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop is pleased to once again offer the Gibson 1936 Advanced Jumbo, outfitted with a thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top, rosewood back and sides, rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl Diamonds and Arrows inlay, vintage-spec neck profile, firestripe pickguard, and VOS Thin Finish Vintage Sunburst nitro lacquer finish.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nAs the guitar features Gibson's full 25 1\/2\" scale (as opposed to their usual 24 3\/4\" dreadnought playing field), the extra tension on the top attributed to this scale length results in an incredibly clear and rich sound with ample projection, great string-to-string clarity, and superior note definition when chording. Tonally, this guitar is warm and relaxed, with a broad-yet-dynamic midrange and crisp, punchy trebles.
