Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a Fender George Harrison Rosewood Telecaster signature model in mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and all hangtags. A short run, and now discontinued model, this premium USA-made iteration of the Rosewood Telecaster platform is a stunning recreation of the model made famous by George Harrison in the waning days of the Beatles. Featuring chambered rosewood body construction sandwiching a thin central strip of maple, the natural acoustic tone of the instrument is lively, detailed and warm, channeled through the American Vintage '64 gray bobbin single coil pair. The resulting tonal palette yields glassy cleans and smooth, articulate overdriven textures. The guitar weighs 7lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The rosewood neck has a "Mid-'60s C" profile carve, slender at the nut with appreciable heft and shoulder as you travel up the fingerboard. The fretboard edges are lightly rolled for added comfort, and the profile measures .820" deep at the 1st fret and .965" at the 12th. The rosewood fretboard has a 9 1/2" radius, with flawless medium jumbo fretwire, playing cleanly up the 25 1/2" scale. The nut measures 1.650" in width, and the headstock features a simple gold "Fender" decal (matching vintage spec) with genuine Schaller-made Fender "F" tuning machines. The custom neck plate is embossed with "Om" and George Harrison's signature.

The electronics function flawlessly, the chrome hardware is gleaming, and the clear protective factory film is still intact over the three-ply black pickguard. There's barely a scratch on the satin nitro lacquer finish.

The original G&G Deluxe black tolex hardshell case with orange plush interior and raised Fender logo on the exterior is included, along with all original hangtags and the "ashtray" bridge cover.
