Made in Akron, OH as with all EarthQuaker pedals, the Palisades V2 is a boutique gain machine with a broad spectrum of tonal options.\n\nThe EarthQuaker Devices Palisades is an overdrive based on the legendary TS-808 Tube Screamer, yet the range of this pedal and the positively ripping gain available pushes far beyond the capabilities of any garden variety tube screamer. The pedal offers six different clipping voices, five bandwidth settings, and two gain channels. The clipping voicings range from transparent and open to tight and crunchy, and the tonal color of the voicings will vary drastically depending on where the gain is set, what channel is active, and how much bandwidth is being used. The bandwidth sets the frequency response of the distortion. It may very well be the Palisades' single most important control.\n\nGain A is a lower gain channel with a wider range of grit, while Gain B is a higher gain channel with a tighter range. The Palisades also has a foot switchable volume boost with adjustable level, a normal\/bright switch, and a buffer on\/off switch.
