Up for sale, an Analogman Mini Bi-Comp compressor pedal in near-mint condition and in perfect working order. The Mini Bi-Comp combines two iconic compressors into one pedalboard-friendly unit. The left side is Analog Man’s take on a Ross compressor, delivering vintage-style squish and flattening. The right side is Analog Man’s iteration of the Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer, recreating the legendarily smooth “squash” compressor used to great effect by legendary guitarists like Mark Knopfler and Jeff “Skunk” Baxter. The two compressors can be engaged independently or in tandem, and the proximity of the two footswitches enables instant swapping between the two effects with just one well-placed stomp.
The controls are decidedly simple, with an independent Volume knob for each of the two compressors and a Sustain knob which sets both sustain (of course) and the overall level of compression. The higher Sustain is set, the louder the volume will be swelled and the more the attack will be compressed. There is also an internal trim pot which dictates the overall wet/dry mix of compressed tone and original signal.
This unit is in exceptional condition, with clean graphics and scarcely a mark on the robust textured housing.
