Up for sale, a 2024 Gretsch G6136TG-OP Orville Peck Signature Falcon in like-new condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, CoA, and factory paperwork. Designed in collaboration with the genre-blending, masked country sensation, the Orville Peck Signature Falcon is as eye-catching as they come, featuring a gloss Oro Sparkle finish (gold flaked white metallic burst over a pale gold sparkle) accented by gleaming gold hardware and gold sparkle binding.
The hollow maple body features Gretsch’s ML bracing: this modern construction technique is essentially half of a classic trestle brace, with feet under the bridge but not by the neck block. The resultant acoustic properties combine the huge, open sound of parallel bracing with the feedback-mitigating, sustain-friendly properties of trestle bracing for what Gretsch describes as a “best of both worlds’ scenario.” The pair of FT-67 Filter’Tron pickups are designed to deliver powerful body and open chime, and these modern, updated Filter’Trons yield an ideal blend of dynamic immediacy and silky richness, also taking gain notably well without losing definition.
