Up for sale, a 2024 Fender Heritage ‘60s Jazzmaster in mint condition, complete with hangtags. Sourced brand new directly from Toyko, this Heritage Series Jazzmaster was designed in conjunction with Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Mark Kendrick, using profiling data from Fender USA for vintage-spec body and neck profile carves. This retooled top-tier Fender Japan Jazzmaster model exceeds the quality of even Fender Japan's previous VSP series, standing toe to toe with any Fender USA Jazzmaster offering.
Produced in very small quantities and sold exclusively through Fender Japan's Tokyo Flagship store, this Jazzmaster boasts a gloss nitro lacquer Black finish with matching peghead, black bobbin pickups custom-wound for the Heritage line, USA-spec CTS pots, and cloth-covered leads used throughout the harness. For players that gravitate towards the top quality fit and finish for which Fender Japan is known, there is no finer Jazzmaster than the Heritage ‘60s model.
A textbook example of everything we love about the Jazzmaster, the instrument has plenty of bold sparkle and percussive cut on tap, with a range of powerful and defined tones from the two black bobbin single coil pickups, and warm, wooly sounds when switched to the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn. Lightweight at 7lbs 8oz, this Heritage ‘60s Jazzmaster has been setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments, with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
