Up for sale, a 2024 Fender Custom Shop 1958 Telecaster Journeyman Relic in mint condition, complete with the COA, all factory paperwork and case candy, and the G&G Deluxe hardshell case. This Tele faithfully replicates the feel, appearance, and tone of Fender’s Pre-CBS golden age with a custom color Aged Shell Pink nitro lacquer finish.
This Custom Shop Tele features an alder body paired with a riftsawn one-piece roasted maple neck, offering a couple player-friendly modern tweaks including a 9 1/2" radius fingerboard and 6105 fretwire that has appreciably more crown and meat than vintage fretwire.
The guitar has a bright and lively natural acoustic response, providing an ideal platform for the pair of handwound single coil pickups. The ‘55/’56 neck pickup is broad and smooth, with a woody, percussive sweetness, while the ‘56/’57 bridge pickup is chock-full of quintessential Tele twang, yielding a snappy cut and plenty of treble sparkle. This Custom Shop 1958 Telecaster weighs 7lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

The Aged Shell Pink nitro lacquer finish is very accurate in its tint and saturation, and Fender’s Journeyman Relic treatment includes extensive lacquer checking across the body and a handful of tiny nicks, with virtually no wear beyond the factory Relic treatment. The neck profile has a silky smooth satin finish, worn down nearly to the bare maple as part of the Relic process.
The tweed G&G Deluxe hardshell case is included, along with the COA/Floor Traveler and all hangtags/case candy.
