Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Custom Shop “Mischief Maker” Heavy Relic Stratocaster, like-new and complete with the hardshell case, COA and all hangtags/case candy. Finished in gloss Black nitro lacquer over Pink Paisley, the Mischief Maker pairs a Stratocaster body with a Telecaster headstock, loaded with a set of hand-wound Custom Shop pickups, each uniquely voiced for its pickup position.
The bridge pickup is a Texas Special, offering plenty of bold punch and sparkle with a bit of midrange bark. The middle position is a '69 Strat coil, spanky and woody, while the neck pickup is a '65-style Strat design, bell-like and harmonically rich. The Greasebucket tone circuit allows for trebles to roll off smoothly while detail is retained, and the "Half Blender" tone circuit allows the bridge and neck pickups to be engaged together. Additional features include Jumbo fretwire and a modern 9.5" fretboard radius on the 10/56 Soft V neck profile carve. This Mischief Maker weighs 7lbs 15oz, dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with low action, 10-46 strings and accurate intonation.

The Black nitro lacquer Heavy Relic finish over a Pink Paisley base shows no wear beyond the simulated factory aging, and the nitro gloss on the neck profile has been worn down to the bare wood on the majority of the carve as part of the Relic process.
