Up for sale, a 2022 Rickenbacker Limited Edition 4003 CB in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original molded hardshell case and hangtags/case candy. This modern iteration of Ric’s ever-popular 4003 platform was produced in sparingly limited quantities, boasting a satin Mapleglo finish framed on top by checkerboard binding (CB model suffix).
This instrument boasts maple neck-through construction with a bound rosewood fingerboard, yielding healthy sustain and an immediate, resonant quality channeled through the Hi-Gain pickup pair. These single coils have a distinctive midrange heft and tonal color, with plenty of growl and low end richness. The push/pull Tone knob engaged a capacitor that filters bass response from the signal for a more present, focused sound associated with '70s Rics. This 4003 CB weighs 9lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 45-105 flatwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
