Up for sale, a 2021 Gretsch G6122TG Players Edition Country Gentleman in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted in Japan as part of Gretsch’s Professional Collection, this modern iteration of the Country Gentleman platform is designed to combine vintage aesthetics and tone with modern reliability and performance, boasting premium features including a Bigsby B6GP string-through vibrato, FT-67 Filter’Tron pickups, Grover Imperial Locking tuners, and a gloss Walnut finish accented by simulated f holes and gold hardware.
The fully hollow, 2”-deep maple Electrotone body features vintage-style parallel bracing, ensuring fantastic natural resonance and a peppy, articulate acoustic character. The FT-67 Filter’Tron humbuckers are a new iteration of the classic Filter’Tron platform, designed to capture classic Gretsch jangle and punch with a more well-rounded tone better suited to modern playing styles and rigs. These pickups are powerful and balanced, with pristine top-end chime, glassy mids, and plenty of low end heft.
