Up for sale, a 2020 Fender Limited Edition American Original ‘50s Stratocaster in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. This Stratocaster replicates the feature set of one of the most vaunted Fenders of the '50s, with gold hardware throughout and a White Blonde nitro lacquer finish, forever associated with the Mary Kaye Trio and their iconic Fender advertisement from 1957.

Features include a chunky soft V-shaped neck profile carve with a modern 9 1/2" fretboard radius, and an upgraded set of Custom Shop Fat '50s single coils. The Custom Shop Fat ‘50s pickups feature black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads, formvar magnet wire, and staggered hand-beveled Alnico V magnets. These single coils feature a slightly hot-rodded pickup wind for enhanced bass register kick, with great midrange detail and exceptional articulation; the neck pickup has a percussive cut and throaty roundness, and the bridge has a sparking bounce and presence. This American Original ‘50s Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Mary Kaye White Blonde nitro lacquer finish reveals the broad grain in the ash body, and cosmetic wear is limited to faint pick scuffing beyond the bass-side edge of the pickguard, some patina on the gold-plated hardware, and just a few faint finish scratches in the clear coat. The ambered nitro gloss on the neck profile is flawless.

The original G&G tweed hardshell case is included, along with the CoA and hangtags (dated to 2020).
