Based on the Taylor Grand Auditorium silhouette, this T5z was a limited Sweetwater exclusive with a Shaded Edgeburst finish, featuring a custom-voiced tropical mahogany soundboard, delivering a strong, colorful voice with ample natural warmth.

The Taylor T5z Classic Deluxe features a whole new generation of electronics. Tones are selected via the five-way blade switch located on the bass side upper bout of the instrument. Two pickups — a concealed neck position humbucker and a visible bridge humbucker — combine with an acoustic body sensor system and onboard tone controls to put a plethora of dynamic, lively sounds at players’ fingertips. Inspired by the research on Taylor's Expression System, the T5z body sensors are overwound to produce sparkling highs and detailed shimmer for the most acoustic-esque switch position. This T5z benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, with fresh strings and easy-playing action.

Neck Specs:

- Neck: Sapele
- Shape: Medium C, measuring .835” at 1st fret, .890” at 12th fret
- Fretboard: Ebony, 12” radius, notched diamond inlays
- Frets: Medium jumbo, no wear
- Scale Length: 24 7/8”
- Nut width: 1 11/16”
- Tuners: Taylor-branded

Body Specs:

- Body: Tropical mahogany, sapele
- Pickups: Concealed neck humbucker, bridge humbucker, acoustic body sensor system
- Controls: Volume, Treble EQ, Bass EQ, five-way selector switch
- Hardware: Ebony bridge, compensated saddle
- Factory markings: Serialized oval label in soundhole

The gloss Shaded Edgeburst finish has only a bit of light scuffing in the clear coat from light handling, primarily on the lower bout treble-side edge.

The original black tolex case is included.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0550/4437/4714/files/medium_9cb86910-2a0c-451e-bd37-3a6b742461fc.jpg?v=1791164526
https://mmguitarbar.com/products/2019-taylor-t5z-classic-deluxe-mahogany-shaded-edgeburst-sweetwater-exclusive-w-case
