Up for sale, a 2019 Martin D-28 Standard Series Reimagined dreadnought in near-mint condition, complete with the original hardshell case and all factory paperwork and hangtags. A reinvention of the D-28 platform designed to reflect the best features this quintessential dreadnought model has to offer, this D-28 blends the rich history of the guitar with Martin’s newest and most heralded innovations. Vintage-centric appointments include open-gear Grover tuners, an aged toner top, antique white accents, and a tortoise pickguard with a new neck profile to give D-28 enthusiasts a modern feel and comfortable playing experience. Martin has also added forward-shifted bracing to allow for greater vibration of the top.
Featuring solid East Indian rosewood back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, this dreadnought has incredible clarity and string to string balance, with the power and articulation that comes with the dreadnought body shape. The guitar has a big burly sound, plenty of low end kick, bold projection, and the perfect balance of cut and sweetness. With their Standard Series instruments, Martin endeavors to create guitars that have the same time tested manufacturing practices and all solid wood construction as their guitars of yesteryear, with a full gloss nitro lacquer body finish. Weighing 4lbs 12oz, this Reimagined D-28 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.

There’s barely a mark on the high gloss nitro lacquer body finish, and the smooth satin finish on the neck profile is similarly flawless.
