Up for sale, a 2017 Fender Traditional ‘60s Jazzmaster FSR in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with hangtags. A very early example of the Traditional series platform, this discontinued model features an upscale feature set with an alder body and vintage-spec 7 ¼” fretboard radius (in contrast to later models with basswood bodies and a modern radius). A model with a custom color Vintage Natural (Walnut) finish, this Jazzmaster was a limited run instrument only intended for the Japanese domestic market.

The Traditional ‘60s Jazzmaster has plenty of sparkle and percussive cut on tap, with a range of powerful and defined tones from the two single coil pickups. Engaging the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn yields warmer, wooly sounds. Weighing 7lbs 13oz, this guitar has been setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments, dialed in with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Vintage Natural finish highlights the grain in the alder body, and cosmetic wear is limited to mild pick scuffing on top (largely constrained to the guard), light buckle rash central to the back, and a few minor nicks on the body as a whole. The gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
