John Suhr has more than 45 years of guitar building experience, including leading Fender's Custom Shop as a Senior Master Builder. Bringing his wealth of experience to his own brand beginning in 1997, the Suhr Classic T takes the traditional Telecaster platform and seamlessly blends both vintage and modern features for the ultimate in performance and playability.

This Classic T weighs 7lbs 8oz, and tonewoods include a swamp ash body, maple neck, and a 22 fret compound radius maple cap fretboard with medium stainless steel fretwire. The pair of Classic T single coil pickups feature Alnico V magnet construction, designed to deliver an idealized version of a classic Tele tonal palette. The bridge yields snappy twang with smooth, rounded high trebles, while the neck is broad and bold with a woody chop, retaining great detail. This Classic T has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, dialed in 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
