This premium iteration of the SG platform boasts features including a carved AAA flame maple top with a gloss custom color Ocean Blue nitro lacquer finish, Burstbucker Pro PAF pickups, and Grover Locking Rotomatic tuners.

Tonewoods include a mahogany body, bookmatched and carved AAA flame maple top, mahogany neck, and Richlite fingerboard, weighing 7lbs 15oz. The Burstbucker Pro pickups are a hot-rodded version of Gibson's Burstbucker PAF, with unmatched bobbin windings and Alnico V magnets (in place of the usual Alnico II). The sound is fat and meaty, interacting well with high gain amps and providing excellent feedback rejection while having a general tonal profile consistent with the PAF design. This SG Supreme has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
