The stock pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers include a '59 in the neck position and a Custom 5 at the bridge.  The Seymour Duncan ‘59 PAF-style humbucker is one of SD’s most popular offerings, prized for its versatility and warm, full sound with clear note attack and sweet, singing sustain. The Custom 5 is designed as “if the Custom 59 humbucker were twice as loud;” the resulting tone has balanced lows and highs, with scooped mids for optimal clarity, taking gain notably well and never getting muddy. This PS120 weighs 9lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike \u0026amp; Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\nThe three-piece mahogany neck has Ibanez’s “PS” neck profile, a medium D-shaped carve with very generous shoulders and a gentle increase in overall heft and fullness up the fretboard, measuring .835” deep at the 1st fret and .980” at the 12th. The bound ebony fretboard features pearloid\/abalone split-block inlays, with a “Paul Stanley” inlay at the 21st fret, and the jumbo fretwire is practically perfect. The guitar plays cleanly up the 24 3\/4“ scale with a straight neck and a responsive, optimally-adjusted truss rod, and the bone nut measures 1 11\/16” in width. The headstock sports a mirrored truss rod cover with Stanley’s signature, and the original tuning machines function reliably.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\nElectronics include a three-way pickup selector switch, independent Volume controls, and a Master Tone knob, and the Sure Grip III knobs have ridged rubber grips that (as the name would imply) help with on-the-fly adjustments and swells.
