Hand-built in Corona, California, the Professional Telecaster HS is a limited run, now discontinued model with a custom color Crimson Red Transparent gloss finish. This guitar boasts a traditional Tele tonewood platform with an alder body, maple neck, and thick slab 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, ensuring a clear, balanced natural acoustic tone. This Tele is equipped with a custom-wound vintage-style Telecaster neck pickup that produces round, clear Tele tone, paired with a zebra coil humbucker which offers a full, vintage-flavored sound with ideal punch. The humbucker can also be coil tapped for more sizzle and twang, engaged via the Fender S-1 switch on the cap of the Volume knob. The guitar weighs 7lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike \u0026amp; Mike's Guitar Bar with low action, accurate intonation and 10-46 strings.The maple neck has a slender C profile carve with modest shoulder and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .830\" deep at the 1st fret and .875\" at the 12th. The slab 22 fret rosewood fretboard has a modern 9 1\/2\" radius with flawless jumbo fretwire that plays effortlessly up the 25 1\/2\" scale. The nut measures a full 1 11\/16\" in width, and the headstock features clean chrome-plated Schaller-made and Fender-branded tuning machines. There are a couple stray nicks on the headstock edge, with the US15-prefix serial number on the back.The electronics all function as intended, with a three-way pickup selector switch for the single coil\/humbucker pair and Master Volume and Tone knobs (with S1 switching for coil tapping functionality). The chrome hardware is bright and clean, including the six-saddle Strat-style bridge for optimal intonation. The Crimson Red gloss finish is accented by a three-ply black pickguard, and there's pick scuffing concentrated on the treble side of the guard. Cosmetic wear includes a few small finish chips on the back treble side at the waist, with some additional faint scuffs and minor marks, mostly relegated to the back.
