This uncommon, discontinued “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass was a limited run model produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, featuring a gloss Walnut finish and black chrome hardware.

Tonewoods include an ash body and a maple neck capped with a slab rosewood fretboard, and this JB62-WAL weighs 8lbs 14oz. The pickups deliver treble-centric growl and midrange burp in the bridge position, while smoother, broader sounds can be dialed in via the neck pickup. This JB62-WAL has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
