Up for sale, a 2012 Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1956 Les Paul Standard “R6” in excellent, 100% original condition, finished in custom color Pelham Blue and complete with the original Lifton-style hardshell case, CoA, and hangtags.

Lightweight at 9lbs 2oz, this Les Paul is well-balanced, acoustically resonant, and offers plenty of natural sustain, boasting the classic tonewood complement of a mahogany body, carved maple top, and a mahogany neck capped with a rosewood fingerboard. The pair of P-90 pickups are wound to vintage spec, offering glassy articulation and smooth midrange growl, yielding fat trebles and rich, smokey tones at the neck. The bridge pickup is packed with harmonics with great detail and bark. This Custom Shop Historic 1956 Les Paul has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
