Up for sale, a 2008 Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, hangtags, and case candy. Eric Johnson is famously meticulous in crafting his tone, and according to Fender, “every facet of [this] guitar is designed to Johnson’s own detailed specs, from the specially voiced pickups to the extra-contoured neck and body to the distinctive tremolo assembly.” Features include a two-piece alder body, a nitro lacquer finish, a one-piece quartersawn maple neck with a soft V profile carve, 12" radius, and medium jumbo fretwire, height-staggered vintage-style tuners (which eliminate the need for string trees), and specially wound EJ voiced single coils.

The Eric Johnson single coils pickups are each unique in structure and performance. The neck pickup is based on a '54 Strat pickup with oversized alnico III magnets. The middle pickup, based on a '63 Strat pickup, uses specially treated alnico magnets and is reverse wound to cancel hum when used with the neck or bridge pickup. The bridge pickup uses alnico V magnets and is specially voiced to be hotter without sacrificing sweet treble sparkle. This Eric Johnson Stratocaster weighs 7lbs 7oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
