Up for sale, a 2008 Epiphone Elitist Les Paul Standard Plus in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. Introduced in 2002, the Epiphone Elitist series of instruments were produced in Japan, and the exceptional fit and finish work of these guitars, combined with premium, hand-selected tonewoods and components, easily elevates the Elitist models above Epiphone offerings produced elsewhere.
This Les Paul Standard Plus features the classic tonewood pairing of an African mahogany body, bookmatched curly maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard, weighing 9lbs 9oz and dishing out plenty of natural sustain. The humbuckers were crafted for Epiphone by Gibson in the USA, featuring Alnico V magnets and wax-potted for ideal feedback rejection. The 50SR humbucker in the neck position is very much in line with a traditional PAF-style tonal profile, with warm, natural lows; smooth, sweet treble articulation; and tailored midrange clarity. The 60ST humbucker at the bridge has a similar tonal profile, slightly overwound for extra kick and growl. This Elitist Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included, along with the hangtags.
